Actividary – A Danced Reading with Ostružina

Step into the world of dance with this playful and interactive performance inspired by the book TANČI (DANCE) – a visually stunning encyclopedia that brings together the history, art, and everyday joy of movement.

What connects the haka, hip-hop, and fever?
And when you tumble onto the dance floor – is it pantomime?

This isn’t just a reading – it’s an invitation to move, improvise, explore, and create! Become part of the story of dance across time, cultures, and styles: from prehistoric rhythms through courtly ballet to contemporary forms and dance for the camera. Along the way, and in the book, you’ll encounter legendary figures like Louis XIV, Isadora Duncan, Josephine Baker, and the Hindu god Shiva.

Actividary is for everyone, children, parents, educators, and anyone curious to explore dance, creativity, and movement in fresh, imaginative ways. TANČI is more than just a book – it’s a hands-on guide to creation, body awareness, and the pure joy of movement.
