We don&#8217;t know if it will ever happen, and maybe that&#8217;s&nbsp;the point. Actually, it\u2019s not about finding a&nbsp;way \u2018to be together with all our differences\u2019 but realizing that coming together, allowing all our differences to converge and interact is the ONLY way we can be together. And all our perceived differences are only relevant or meaningful when in relationship to everything else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A choreography for five dancers and an audience, this piece offers possibilities and ways to approach the performance. In the space of 50 minutes, it creates a&nbsp;shared space between dancer and spectator in which the boundary between auditorium and stage is permeable and fluid. The piece explores the questions of degrees of participation, problematics of decision making and flexibility of personal boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>DIFFERENT? is neither a&nbsp;duality, nor separation or delimitation. It is about plurality of opinions; about sharing a&nbsp;space. It is about listening, deciding and taking actions that together create a&nbsp;whole.<br \/>\nDIFFERENT? is a&nbsp;shared space where the boundaries are permeable and flexible. They depend only on how and where each one of us sets them.<br \/>\nDIFFERENT? is a&nbsp;dance event for 6 performers and an audience.<br \/>\nDIFFERENT? is a&nbsp;dance you can do!<\/p>\n<p>Building on the principles of mimicry, emotional and cognitive empathy, embodiment and sharing one&#8217;s&nbsp;mind, the piece investigates the questions of participation, plurality of opinions, perspectives, decision making and flexibility of personal boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>The work considers the potential to inhabit various sites.
